48forty has been busy. Very busy. With our retail customers getting ready for Black Friday and what’s anticipated to be a record-breaking holiday season, our plants, affiliates, sales and other internal teams have been working hard to get pallets delivered and are preparing to retrieve a surge of used pallets.
While it’s a hectic time, we’re thankful to have the opportunity to keep our customers’ pallet needs running smoothly, regardless of the insane seasonal volumes.
Last Thursday our Houston corporate team took a pause from pallets to focus on our palates and share an early Thanksgiving lunch. We celebrated like one big family; there was a lot of gratitude around the 48forty table.

There is tremendous talent and experience across our company, 2,450 hardworking employees to be exact. Some of our pallet builders have been with us more than 30 years! I am so honored to work with such a diverse and supportive team. It makes people look forward to coming to work.

People with little experience can get a job with 48forty, earn a good wage and advance. Our customers look to us to get their pallets delivered and retrieved quickly. We’re fortunate to have our own fleet of tractors and trailers in all our locations ready to roll 24/7 rather than having to rely on third parting trucking firms. Having guaranteed capacity for deliveries and drop-and-hook along with the ability to provide real-time tracking information on our loads are true customer benefits
Technology.
We are lucky to have a great IT team committed to providing exceptional internal and external customer support. A perfect example is PalTrax®, our online order and access customer portal, as well as our electronic bills of lading that make life so much easier for our customers and us.
