How 48forty's SFI-Certified Recycled Pallets are Revolutionizing Sustainable Packaging

With 48forty's SFI-certified whitewood pallets, customers can trust that they are making an environmentally responsible choice without compromising on cost, quality, or reliability. Hear more from CEO Mike Hachtman on how 48forty's SFI-certified whitewood pallets are revolutionizing sustainable packaging and providing our customers unique data insights around their waste reduction efforts.

Today more than ever, our customers want to understand where the materials and their packaging come from. And the SFI Chain of Custody Standard drives that material tracing and transparency throughout the manufacturing process, allowing 48forty to provide that definitive information about where the wood materials utilized in their recycled pallets come from. 48forty is the first company providing recycled pallets to be certified under the SFI Chain of Custody Standard.

How are SFI-certified recycled pallets revolutionizing sustainable packaging?

SFI's Chain of Custody Standard that we're using tracks certified wood content, non-certified forest content and recycled forest content all the way to the end product. So in short, our SFI certification ensures that all the recycled pallets provided by 48forty Solutions are manufactured from recycled materials, and then in choosing 48forty products, our customers are directly supporting sustainable forestry management.

And this is just what we do at 48forty. We believe in delivering innovative pallet and labor management solutions that not only meet the customer's needs, but allow us to contribute to an environmentally responsible and more sustainable future. And the certification does more than just set us apart in the industry. It provides our customers with a peace of mind that knowing when they buy pallets from 48forty, they're making an environmentally sustainable choice without compromising on cost, quality or reliability. And 48forty provides all of these services at no cost to our customers, underscoring our commitment to the sustainable supply chain and our customers.

How does the SFI certification help customers track their Waste Reduction Efforts?

One of the benefits is allowing our customers to track waste diversion and recycling practices. All of the SFI certified pallets that provided by 48forty are certified to be made from recycled materials and we track those materials throughout our system allowing us to generate waste reduction data with each and every pallet shipment that we send to our customers. You might already be buying pallets from us, but you know, one of the unique things we do and the SFI certification enhances this is our, customers many of them want this data quarterly. Some of them want it monthly, others just need it annually for their annual reporting that they might do on their environmental efforts.

We're able to provide that information again down to the specific location and down to the specific types of pallets that they used in each one of their locations. We offer SFI certified pallets in premium A grade, standard A's, standard B's, as well as a number of re-manufactured grades and sizes that cater our customers specific needs without compromising on quality. The biggest thing that our customers recognize is how unique this is and what it shows our dedication to our customers. Our customers didn't come to us and demand this. We providing this to them because one, we understand what their needs for reporting and waste reduction and environmental standards are as well.
